ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union women's soccer team will host Capital for their Kick for the Cure match on Saturday, October 3 at 1 pm.
In their annual Kick for the Cure game, the Purple Raiders will be taking donations to go towards familes impacted by cancer. In addition, they will be raffling off baskets, selling t-shirts and fans can participate in a halftime contest.

Scouting Mount Union
The Purple Raiders, 4-5 overall, are coming off of a 1-0 loss at Grove City Friday afternoon.
Mount Union is led by senior Kelsey Malenic (Poland/Poland Seminary) who leads the Raiders in goals (7), assists (5) and points (19). Leading the Raiders in goal this season is sophomore Paige Freel (Niles/Niles McKinley) with 31 saves in 469:39 minutes of play.
Scouting Capital
The Crusaders, 4-4 overall, are coming off of a 3-2 overtime loss to number 14 ranked Carnegie Mellon this past Sunday.
Capital is led by junior Becca Cartmill who leads the team in goals (4) and points (9). Leading Capital in assists is sophomore Cloe Brown with three. In goal for the Crusaders is junior Alexis Brand who collected 33 saves in 403:20 minutes of play.
