HILTON HEAD, S.C. –The Mount Union men's tennis team defeated Lebanon Valley 9-0 and St. John Fisher 9-0 Monday, in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The Purple Raiders improve to 4-1 on the season.

Mount took all six singles matches, with Malcolm Leake (Fremont/Fremont Ross) defeating Jordan Shankroff in the number one spot 10-3. Ben Swope (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) defeated Brent Greco 10-2 in the number three spot for the Raiders and Jeff Williams (Cleveland Heights/St.Edwards) defeated Cody Manmiller 10-4 in the four spot.

The Raiders swept the Dutchmen in doubles action, with Rob DeMarco (North Canton/Hoover) and Williams defeating Shankroff and Calabria 8-2 in the one spot and Leake and Jackson Schneider (Oregon, WI/Oregon) defeating Greco and Nick Jones 8-0.

Against St. John Fisher, Leake defeated Kevin Kulawiec in the number one spot 10-8.

The Raiders swept St. John Fisher in doubles action with Leake and Schneider defeating Kulawiec and Adam Moran 9-7 in the number two spot.

Mount Union is back on the courts tomorrow at 12:00 pm against Wilkes in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
