ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's tennis team saw its three-match win streak stopped with a 7-2 home loss to Ohio Northern in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Sunday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders now stand at 7-4 overall and 1-1 in the OAC while Ohio Northern is 9-3 overall and tied with Baldwin Wallace in first place in the OAC at 2-0.
MacKenzie Jenkins (North Hampton/Northwestern) had a hand in both of the points Mount Union had on the day as she won her No. 1 singles match 6-1 and 6-2 while her and Megan Reichert (Ashtabula/Lakeside) combined to win No. 1 doubles 8-4.
Mount Union returns to the court Tuesday, March 31 at 3:30 p.m. at John Carroll.
