ERIE, Pa. – Mount Union's women's soccer team fell at Penn State-Behrend 3-1 Wednesday.

Penn State-Behrend (3-3) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the game's opening 17 minutes and held that lead at halftime. 

Mount Union (2-4) avoided the shutout in the 61st minute when senior Kelsey Malenic (Poland/Poland Seminary) scored off of an assist by freshman Hailee Brown (Chesterland/West Geauga).  

The Raiders return home to host Geneva (Pa.) Saturday, September 19 at 1 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium.
