HILTON HEAD, S.C.—The Mount Union women's tennis team collected a 6-3 win over Elizabethtown (Pa.) this afternoon in Hilton Head.
The Purple Raiders (6-2) led 2-1 coming out of doubles and grabbed four singles positions to defeat the Blue Jays. Gretchen Groves (Louisville/Louisville) won 6-4, 6-2 at No.1 singles to secure the win for Mount Union.
The Raiders return to action next Wednesday, March 9th , when they travel to Grove City (Pa.).
