GROVE CITY, Pa.—The Mount Union women's tennis team rallied in singles to score a 6-3 win over Grove City (Pa.). The Purple Raiders improve to 7-2 on the season while the Wolverines fall to 9-7.
Mount Union came out of doubles down 2-1, with the only win coming from No.3 doubles team of Ashley Gran (Ashtabula/Lakeside) and Kayla Johnston (Ashtabula/Lakeside).
In singles, the Raiders won five of six singles matches to earn their seventh victory of the season. Gretchen Groves (Lousiville/Louisville) secured the match with a three set win at No.1 singles.
Mount Union is back in action next Wednesday, March 16th, as they host Ohio Wesleyan. The match is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
