Women's Tennis: Raiders Blank Pioneers; Mount Union Defeats Marietta 9-0 on the Road

MARIETTA, Ohio – The Mount Union women's tennis team shutout Marietta (2-11, 0-3 OAC) 9-0 in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Tuesday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders (10-5, 3-2 OAC) achieved their fourth shutout of the season with the victory over Marietta.

After sweeping doubles, Trisha Kohut (Warren/Lordstown) secured the fifth point for the Raiders with the win over Marietta's Liz Reed 6-1, 6-0 as all singles matches were won in two sets.

Mount Union returns home in a three-match home stand starting on Saturday, April 14 at 1:00 p.m. against Heidelberg.
