LIMA, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's tennis team was defeated 6-3 by Ohio Northern Saturday at the Westwood Tennis & Fitness Center in Lima.

The Purple Raiders are now 8-3 overall and 0-2 in the OAC while Ohio Northern is 10-3 overall and 1-0 in the OAC.

Mount Union's three wins came at No. 3 doubles from Sierra Beighey (Fombell, Pa. / Riverside) and Gabrielle Wegener (Avon) then at No. 3 singles from Cora Shane (Cuyahoga Falls) and No. 4 singles from MacKenzie Cavalier (Uniontown / Green).

The Raiders return home to host Muskingum in an OAC match Wed., April 3 at 3 p.m. in Alliance.
