ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's tennis team snapped a two-match losing streak and picked up their first Ohio Athletic Conference win with a 9-0 win over Muskingum Wednesday at the Whitehill Courts on campus.

The Purple Raiders are now 10-3 overall and 1-3 in the OAC while Muskingum falls to 1-10 overall and 0-3 in the conference.

Mount Union swept through the doubles matches in straight sets then breezed through singles with straight set wins from Gretchen Groves (Louisville) at No. 1, MacKenzie Cavalier (Green) at No. 4, Sierra Beighey (Fombell, Pa. / Riverside) at No. 5 and Trisha Kohut (Warren / Lordstown) at No. 6.

The Raiders stay home and host Marietta in an OAC match Saturday, Apr. 6 at 1 p.m. in Alliance.
