ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's tennis team posted its second straight shutout with a 9-0 win over Marietta in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Saturday at the Whitehill Courts.

The Purple Raiders are now 10-3 overall and 2-2 in the OAC while Marietta falls to 3-10 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

Mount Union won both contested doubles matches with Gretchen Groves (Louisville) and MacKenzie Cavalier (Green) picking up a straight set win at the No. 1 spot.

It was much the same in four contested singles matches as both Groves and Cavalier again won straight set matches at the No. 1 and No. 4 positions respectively.

Mount Union next competes Wednesday, April 10 at John Carroll in an OAC match in Cleveland.
