NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Mount Union women's tennis team dropped their fall season opener 6-3 to Westminster (Pa.) Friday evening. 

Mount Union (0-1) won one out four double matches and two out six single matches. 

Providing the Raiders with single competition wins was sophomore MacKenzie Cavalier (Uniontown / Green) and junior Trisha Kohut (Warren / Lordstown). With wins in doubles was the team of Kohut and junior Sierra Beighey (Fombell (Pa.) / Riverside).

Mount Union will continue play on Thursday, September 27 traveling to Mount Vernon Nazarene.
