WASHINGTON, Pa. - Mount Union's women's tennis team scored a 6-3 win over Washington and Jefferson Friday in Washington, Pa. 

The Purple Raiders finish the fall season with a  2-1 record.

Mount Union started the match with wins in doubles from sophomore MacKenzie Cavalier (Uniontown / Green) and  junior Gabrielle Wegener (Avon) at No. 2 and senior Sierra Beighey (Fombell, Pa. / Riverside) and junior Trisha Kohut (Warren / Lordstown) at No. 3.

In singles play the Raiders got wins from ophomore Cora Shane (Cuyahoga Falls) at No. 2, Cavalier at No. 3, Beighey at No. 4 and Kohut at No. 6.
