MARIETTA, Ohio – The Mount Union men's soccer team dropped an Ohio Athletic Conference battle against Marietta 1-0 on Wednesday night.
The Purple Raiders (8-4-2, 1-4-1 OAC) and Pioneers (5-6-3, 2-2-2 OAC) were locked in a 0-0 tie until the 77
th minute when Tyler Klein found the back of the net for the Pioneers, in what ended up being the game winning goal.
The Raiders best chances at scoring came off the foot of senior
Rylan Wikle (Olmsted Falls) who managed to get six shots of during the game, but he was unable to find the back of the net.

Tyler Venti (Hudson) had four saves in the game.
The Raiders are back in action Saturday, October 23 at 1 p.m. in Tiffin, Ohio to take on Heidelberg.
