UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Mount Union men's soccer team lost to Ohio Athletic Conference opponent, John Carroll, 3-0 on Wednesday night.
The Blue Streaks (5-3-2, 2-0-0 OAC) struck first in the 6
th minute off a goal by Jack Foht. John Carroll then extended its lead in the 23
rd minute off a goal by Benjamin Hryszko.
The game then remained 2-0 until the 89
th minute when the Blue Streaks scored their third goal of the night off the foot of Benjamin Hryszko.
The Raiders (7-2-1, 0-2-0 OAC) best chances of scoring came from senior
Rylan Wikle (Olmsted Falls) and junior
Ryan Sarkisian (Hudson), however neither were able to find the back of the net.
The Raiders will return to the pitch Saturday, October 9 at 7 p.m. to take on Wilmington in Wilmington, Ohio.
