ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team picked up a home victory over Ohio Athletic Conference opponent, John Carroll, 3-0 on Wednesday night.
The Purple Raiders (5-4-1, 1-1-0 OAC) got on the board first when junior
Andrea Decker (Hillard / Hillard Bradley) scored off an assist by sophomore
Molly Eubanks (New Concord / John Glenn) in the 19
th minute. Decker then scored her second goal of the night in the 31
st minute off an assist by junior
Madison Pepper (Uniontown / Lake).
In the 69
th minute Decker recorded her third goal of the night, this time the assist came from senior
Kassity Miller (New Waterford / Crestview). This marked the first hat trick of Decker's career.
Freshman goalkeeper
Rylee Oldfield (Liberty Twp. / Lakota East) also recorded the first shutout of her career in the win, picking up three saves along the way.
The Raiders return to action Saturday, October 9 at 1 p.m. against Wilmington at Mount Union Stadium.
