LATROBE, Pa. – Mount Union's men's basketball team, ranked No. 21 in the nation, won its road matchup with St. Vincent (Pa.) 110-50 on Wednesday night in Latrobe, Pa.

The Purple Raiders (2-0) had five players score in double figures, with senior Ethan Stanislawski (Massillon / Jackson) leading the way with 17 points.

Sophomore Christian Parker (Canton / Glenoak) finished with a 14-point, 10 rebound double-double off the bench, with junior Andrew Keller (Painesville / Riverside) and sophomore Adam Chaney (Carrollton) both adding 12 points. Senior Chris Painter Jr. (Akron / St. Vincent- St. Mary) rounded out the Raiders double digit scorers with 11 points.

St. Vincent (0-1) was led by Osyon Jones, who scored a game-high 22 points in the loss.

The Raiders got out to an early eight-point lead when a Parker free throw with 13:32 left in the first half gave them a 13-5 lead. A little over a minute later a Chaney layup sparked a 24-4 run over the next 8:20 that was capped off by a Stanislawski jump shot and gave the Raiders a 37-11 lead. A putback by senior Logan Hill (Massillon / Jackson) gave the Raiders a 48-20 lead going into halftime.

St. Vincent (Pa.) hit a three-point jumper to open the second half but couldn't get closer than 25 points for the remainder of the game.

The Raiders forced 20 turnovers and held St. Vincent (Pa.) to just 14-54 shooting (25.9%).
