HOLLAND, Mich. -- Mount Union's women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season with a 94-41 loss at No. 1 ranked Hope (Mich.) in the championship game of the Hope Tip-Off Tournament.

Ella McKinney scored 14 points as 15 different players scored for Hope (2-0). The Dutch led 22-9 at the end of the first quarter and 47-22 at the half.

Mount Union (1-1) got nine points and five rebounds from Emma Cannon (Dalton), Kelsie Glass (Green) had eight points and Isi Palamone (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) had seven rebounds.

The Purple Raiders next play at Pitt-Greensburg, Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. in Greensburg, Pa.
