CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Mount Union's men's volleyball team was picked to finish second in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League preseason coaches poll.
It is the Purple Raiders third season in the conference as they start their fourth year as a varsity sport. Mount Union won 21 matches a year ago and advanced to the conference championship game for the first time.

Jeremy Leyden (Cuyahoga Falls / Akron Hoban),
Steven Grenier (Hawthorn Woods, Ill. / Lake Zurich) and
Sam Matonis (Macedonia / Walsh Jesuit)
Mount Union begins its season on January 19 with a tri-match at Geneva with games against St. Norbert (Wisc.) and Geneva (Pa.) and opens conference play February 19th with a game against Adrian (Mich.) at 1:00 pm in the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex in Alliance.
