Peyton Koszelak (Eden, N.Y. / Eden) was named the MCVL Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season.

Koszelak becomes the first Purple Raider to earn the defensive player of the year twice and he is the only Raider to win the defensive player of the year award.

Luke Pemberton (Jackson) was also named to the All-MCVL team with an honorable mention award.

Koszelak has been one of the top libero in the country this season averaging 3.64 digs per set which is ranked third in the nation. He has picked up the Mount Union school record for digs in a season with 397 which leads the nation and got over the 1,000-career dig mark this past season. He has played and started in 28 matches for the Raiders this season.

Pemberton broke on the scene this season starting 22 games and playing in all 28 matches. He finished the season leading the Raiders with kills (281) and kills per set (2.93). He also added 118 digs which were third and 17 service aces which were fourth on the team

The men's volleyball team ended its season at 12-16 overall and 5-4 in the MCVL.
