ALLIANCE, Ohio— Mount Union's women track and field team put up eight top 7 marks in the NCAA Division III Ranks including the top time in the women's 400-meter hurdles by Michaelina Terranova (North Jackson / Jackson-Milton) in a time of 1:04.64 and senior Bri Aveni (Geneva) tied the top height in Pole Vault with a jump of 11' 5.75".
Senior Sabrina Stocker (Madison) won the 100-meter hurdles with the 3rd fastest time in the 100-meter hurdles with a 14.91 and Terranova also put up the fourth fastest time in the 100-meter hurdles right behind her with a time of 12.01.
The women's 4x400 team consisting of Stocker, senior Hailey Miller (Louisville), and sophomores Julia Henderson (Twinsburg) and Taylor Cupp (Geneva) finished first running a 4:06.36 clocking the second fastest time ran this year for Division III.
Senior Cortni Arp (Copley) along with freshman Madison Miles (Parma / Padua Franciscan) finished first and second in the 400-meters in 58.37 and 58.41 for the 3rd and 4th fastest times in the nation.
Junior Kennady Gibbins (Navarre / Fairless) won the 200-meters in 25.61 seconds placing her 7th in the nation currently.
Mount Union heads out to Ada, Ohio next Saturday Apr. 3 to compete at Ohio Northern.
