BEREA, Ohio -- The Mount Union track and field team posted eight provisional qualifying marks for the NCAA Championships Friday Afternoon at the Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet at Baldwin Wallace.
The top 17 men and top 19 women along with the top 14 relays make the national meet in two weeks.
The women's 4x100-Meter relay team consisting of Cortni Arp (Copley), Kenadee Wayt (Wheeling, W.Va. / Wheeling Central Catholic) Lauren Roncone (North Canton / Hoover) and Madison Miles (Parma / Padua Franciscan) ran a 47.51 good for first in the meet and sits fourth in the nation.
Arp, Wayt and Miles teamed up with Micah Donley (Carrollton) to win the 4x400-Meter relay running 3:49.26 good for fourth in the nation as well.
Brody Coleman (Knox, Pa. / Keystone) won both the triple jump (47' 10.5") and 400-Meter hurdles (53.70) good for 9th and 10th in the nation.
Vincent Giumenti (Dover) finished third in the 1500-Meter run in a time of 3:51.15 good for 10th in the nation currently.
Alex Bryan (Geneva) finished first in the 800-Meter run in a time of 1:51.63 and sits 12th overall in the nation.
Blaine Kitchen (Tontogany / Otsego) won the pole vault with a height of 15-feet 9.75-inches good for 13th currently.
Lucas Cooper (Hanoverton / United Local) placed first in the discus throw with a season best 162-feet 6-inches which sits 14th overall.
Sabrina Stocker (Madison) picked up the victory in the 100-Meter hurdles with a time of 14.64.
Jacob Shedd (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) won the men's long jump with a distance of 23-feet 1.25-inches.
Evan Hershberger (Dalton) won the men's high jump with a height of 6-feet 6.75-inches.
Emily Phillips (Chardon) won the women's pole vault with a height of 11-feet 3-inches.
Lily Bogunovich (Alliance / Marlington) won the 400-Meter dash in a time of 58.69.
AJ Digby (Tontogany / Otsego) won the men's 400-Meter dash in a time of 49.19.
The final last chance meet of the year takes place next week at Mount Union on Wednesday, May 14th.
