GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Mount Union's 4x100 and 4x400 meter women's relay teams claimed All-American honors on the final day of the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships Saturday at the Irwin Belk Track at North Carolina A&T University.
The 4x100 team of Cortni Arp (Copley), Madison Miles (Parma / Padua Franciscan), Kenadee Wayt (Wheeling Central Catholic, W.Va.) and Lauren Roncone (North Canton / Hoover) placed sixth with a season-best time of 47.40.
The 4x400 team of Arp, Miles, Wayt and Micah Donley (Carrollton) placed fifth with a time of 3:49.93.
They join Kennady Gibbins (Navarre / Fairless) who was an All-American in both the heptathlon and long jump to give the Purple Raiders All-American honors in four different events.
Mount Union finished in 23rd place with 11 points in the team standings.
Other placers for Mount Union in the meet included Brit McCauley (Ontario), who placed 10th in the 1500 meters, Michaelina Terranova (North Jackson / Jackson-Milton), who placed 12th in the 400 meter hurdles, Sabrina Stocker (Madison), who finished 16th in the 100 meter hurdles, Miles finished 17th in the 400 meters and Bri Aveni (Geneva) was 18th in the pole vault.
