WOOSTER, Ohio – Mount Union's men's soccer team got a road win against Wooster 2-1 on Wednesday night.
The Purple Raiders (7-0-1) scored first in the 14
th minute when junior
Ryan Sarkisian (Hudson) found the back of the net off an assist from senior
Rylan Wikle (Olmsted Falls). The goal was the first of Sarkisian's career. Wikle then scored a goal of his own in the 20
th minute when he scored off a penalty kick.
The Fighting Scots (6-3-1) cut into the Raiders lead in the 49
th minute off a goal by Max Hill.

Mikey Contreras (Fremont/ Fremont Ross) picked up two saves, and junior goalkeeper
Tyler Venti (Hudson) picking up three saves in the win.
The Raiders return to the pitch Saturday, October 2 at 7 p.m. when they take on #13 Otterbein at Mount Union Stadium.
