UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio. – The Mount Union women's basketball team dropped an Ohio Athletic Conference game to No. 10 nationally-ranked John Carroll, 77-50, Wednesday night at the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center.
The Purple Raiders (6-9, 3-6 OAC) were led by junior
Kelsie Glass (Green) with 14 points.

Emma Cannon (Dalton) and senior
Isi Palamone (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) finished with double digit scoring with 12 and 10 respectively.
John Carroll (6-0, 2-0 OAC) was led by Olivia Nagy with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
John Carroll jumped out to a 16-4 lead, but Mount Union responded with a 9-4 run over the final 2:37 of the quarter to pull within seven.
The Raiders opened the second quarter on a 7-2 run to pull within two points with 8:38 left in the half. John Carroll had a 15-1 run over the final 5:00 of the half to take a 47-25 lead
John Carroll in the third quarter pushed the lead out to 59-27. Mount Union responded scoring the next 12 points with five different Raiders getting in the scorebook.
The final quarter saw John Carroll outscore Mount Union 16-11.
Mount Union takes on Ohio Northern in OAC play this Saturday, January 29 at 2 p.m. in Alliance.
