UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – Mount Union's men's soccer team lost an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against John Carroll 2-0 on Wednesday night.
The Blue Streaks (13-5-1, 8-1-0 OAC) struck first when Michael Burrington found the back of the net in the 40
th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
John Carroll would then add to their in the 76
th minute Jack Foht netted a goal to take a 2-0 lead.
The Purple Raiders (9-4-5, 4-3-2 OAC) best scoring opportunities came off shots by seniors
Rylan Wikle (Olmsted Falls),
Matthew Berner (Hilliard / Hilliard Bradley) and
Ryan Sarkisian (Hudson).
The Raiders return home next when they host Otterbein on Saturday, October 29 at 7 p.m. in their regular season finale at Kehres Stadium.
