ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's soccer team lost an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against Otterbein 2-1 on Saturday night.
The Purple Raiders (9-3-5, 4-2-2 OAC) got on the board first when senior Rylan Wikle (Olmsted Falls) found the back of the net off an assist from juniors Adam Kalvitz (Avon) and Jamon McCort (Magnolia / Sandy Valley) in the 12
th minute.
The Cardinals (10-2-3, 4-1-3 OAC) would come back to tie the game in the 38
th minute when Giuseppe Maida found the back of the net. Otterbein would then take the lead in the 67
th minute when Mitchell Patterson scored to take a 2-1 lead.
The Raiders open up OAC Tournament play next when they travel to Wilmington on Tuesday, November 1 at 7 p.m.
