The Purple Raiders (7-5-4, 4-4-1 OAC) have scored the second most goals in the OAC with 37 on the season, they are led by the senior duo of Andrea Decker (Hilliard / Hilliard Bradley) and Madison Pepper (Uniontown / Lake). Decker is tied for the most goals in the conference with 12 and Pepper is tied for the fourth most with 11 goals. Defensively the Raiders are led by senior Lauren Francescone (Olmsted Falls) and sophomore Logan Godfrey (Huntingtown, Md.).

The Blue Streaks (9-8-2, 5-4-0 OAC) have scored the fifth most goals in the OAC with 33 and are led by Emily Patrzyk who is tied for the most goals in the conference with 12. Defensively John Carroll is led by Kathryn Shaffer and Lauren Gumeny.

OAC Tournament History

Mount Union is making its 12^th OAC Tournament appearance and has a record of 7-10-1, winning tournament titles in 1996 and 2016.

John Carroll is making its 21^st OAC Tournament appearance and has a record of 13-20, winning a tournament title in 2001.

The Raiders and Blue Streaks have met three times in the OAC Tournament, Mount Union has won two of these meetings, including the most recent in 2018.

Coaches

Hannah Brown is in her first season as the head coach of Mount Union. Prior to coming to Mount Union, Brown had spent the previous 10 years at the University of California-Merced, the last five as the head women's soccer coach. Brown led the Bobcats to a 48-27-8 record, including five consecutive Cal Pace Championship tournament appearances. She reached double figure wins in every season possible and won seven of eight games during the shortened spring season in 2021. Brown was also a United Soccer Coaches Association 30 under 30 honoree in 2018.

Michael Marich is in his 11^th season as the head coach of John Carroll. He has led the Blue Streaks to an 83-79-27 record, including eight OAC Tournament appearances and to an OAC Regular Season Championship in 2013. Marich previously served as an assistant for John Carroll from 2008-2011 before being named head coach.
