NEW WILMINGTON, Pa-- The Mount Union women's basketball team fell on the road 69-52 against Westminster (Pa.) on Sunday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders (2-1) were led on offense by senior
Madison Hensley (Blacklick / Gahanna Lincoln) scoring 13 points and sophomore
Ali Hudik (Mentor / Lake Catholic) scoring 10.

Westminster (Pa.) (2-0) was led by Camden Hergenrother who scored 22 points and eight rebounds.

Mount Union held Westminster to just 12 points but could not get the offense going only scoring seven points. At the halftime break Westminster pushed the lead out to 33-21 at the half. Westminster held Mount Union to 12 points in the third quarter while scoring 17 having a 50-33 lead. Mount Union held even in the fourth quarter but couldn't pull of the comeback losing 69-52.

Mount Union will return home on Wednesday, November 16 for a 7 p.m. tip off against Pitt-Greensburg.
