BEREA, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's lacrosse team fell 14-9 to Baldwin Wallace in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup Wednesday Evening.

Alek Kungle (Hartville / Lake) had five goals for the Purple Raiders, who now fall to 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the OAC.
Connor O'Neil,
Alex Ellison, grant Dunmire and
Clay Barkan all scored one goal for Mount Union.

Baldwin Wallace (8-3, 4-0 OAC) was led by Kyler Byerly who scored four goals.

Mount Union got on the board first with a goal from Dunmire but Baldwin Wallace responded with 5 unanswered goals. A goal from Kungle and Barkan closed the lead down to 5-3 until a goal from Baldwin Wallace ended the first quarter.

The Raiders started the second quarter with a goal from O'Neil and Kungle to get within one down 6-5. Baldwin Wallace responded with three goals in a row as the streak ended with an Ellison goal before the half as Mount Union trailed 9-6.

Baldwin Wallace outscored Mount Union 5-3 over the final two quarters with all three goals for Mount Union coming from Kungle.

Mount Union hosts senior day and an OAC matchup this Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m. against Heidleberg.
