WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- Mount Union's sophomore Drake Willenborg (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week Awards (3/27).
 
Willenborg had a busy weekend competing in three different events but the biggest of them all was the discus throw where he threw the Division III lead with a toss of 166-feet 3-inches which is over 2-feet farther then the next athlete.
 
Willenborg also competed in the hammer throw (155') and shot put (45' 7.25") where he is currently ranked 35th and 47th.
 
This is the first award for Willenborg in the season and his career.
