PITTSFORD, New York— The Mount Union men's track and field team qualified six athletes to the finals on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships Thursday evening.
In the only final event of the day sophomore
Drake Willenborg (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon East) finished 13th overall in the discus with a throw of 142-feet 1-inch.
Both the men's 4x400 and 4x100-Meter relays qualified to the finals on Saturday. Seniors
Jared Storm (Barberton) and
Tyler Gill (Greenville, Pa. / Reynolds) were on both relays as they are second and fourth.
Seniors
Andrew McVicker (Dover) and
Tylir Shannon (Transfer, Pa. / Reynolds) were on the 4x100 while seniors
Matt McBride (Conneaut) and
Justin Knoch (Canton / GlenOak) were on the 4x400.
Storm also competed and qualified to the finals in the 200-Meters ranked seventh.
Storm will be back tomorrow competing in the 100-Meters at 6 p.m. while McBride will be competing in the 400-Meters at 5:30 p.m.
