Women's Soccer: Raiders Drop Road Match Against W&J

WASHINGTON, Pa. – Mount Union's women's soccer team lost 1-0 against Washington and Jefferson in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday evening.

The Presidents (3-1-1) broke the scoreless tie in the 75th minute when Dove Corette-Bennett was able to find the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead.

The Purple Raiders (2-2) wouldn't be able to answer over the final 15 minutes of action as Washington and Jefferson would go on to win 1-0.

The Raiders return home on Saturday, September 16, when they'll host Chatham at 1 p.m. at Kehres Stadium.
