ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Mount Union men's volleyball team hosted Arcadia University in a competitive matchup Friday evening. The Raiders dropped the first set, but ultimately made a comeback to win three consecutive sets in a row (21-25, 25,22, 25-20, and 25-22).

The Purple Raiders (4-3) were led by senior
Jack McClure (Massillon / Massillon Jackson) with 21 kills and junior
Jacob Nussdorfer (Lewis Center / Olentangy) with 11 kills.

Will Heeney (Hudson / Walsh Jesuit) finished with 38 assists while junior
Aaron Armour (Waukesha, Wis. / Catholic Memorial) finished with 17 digs, Nussdorfer finished with 14 and freshman
Peyton Koszelak (Eden, N.Y. / Eden) had 12 digs.

Arcadia (4-3) was led by Andrew Ahn with 20 kills, Josh Clendening with 14 digs, and Riley Kodidek with 41 assists.

SET ONE
The Purple Raiders dropped the first set. The Raiders had 12 kills, 3 attack errors, and 5 service errors while Arcadia had 14 kills, 7 attack errors, and 1 service error. Arcadia took the first set 25-21.

SET TWO
The Raiders won the second set. The Raiders were down 9-3, but ultimately made a comeback to take the lead and win the set with a score of 25-22. The Raiders had 11 kills and 4 blocks while Arcadia had 9 kills, 7 service errors, and 7 attack errors.

The Raiders won set three. Points were awarded back and forth between the two teams. The Raiders had 14 kills and 3 blocks while Arcadia had 11 kills and 6 attack errors. The Raiders won the third set 25-20.

SET FOUR
Mount Union won the final set of the night. The Raiders led with 15 kills while Arcadia had 13 kills. The Raiders will travel to Hiram on Tuesday February 13th to take on Hiram College at 7:00 pm.
