TIFFIN, Ohio – The Mount Union baseball team lost both games in its Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) doubleheader at Heidelberg on Friday.

Zachary Breeden (Cincinnati, Ohio / Cincinnati Elder) (1-2) went 6.2 innings and gave up no earned runs (three total) off six hits, while striking out three.

Zack Mazza (Flint, Mich. / Powers Catholic) connected on a solo home run to right field. The Student Princes, however answered with four runs in the bottom of the seventh and won 9-7. Freshman
Chase Mayer (Amherst, Ohio / Amherst Steele) got the loss after coming for relief, pitching 2.1 innings and giving up four runs off four hits and striking out two.
The Purple Raiders are back in action Saturday, April 6 with a home conference twinbill against Otterbein starting at 1 p.m.
