Men's Lacrosse: Raiders Fall on the Road to Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio—The Mount Union men's lacrosse team fell 23-8 in an Ohio Athletic Conference game against Baldwin Wallace Wednesday night.
 
The Purple Raiders (5-8, 1-4 OAC) was led by Mark Zusman (Willoughby / Willoughby South) with three goals while Liam Erwin (Victor, N.Y. / Victor Senior) finished with two goals.
 
Spencer Logsdon (Akron / Archbishop Hoban), Braylon Li (Richfield / Revere) and Vinny Marszalek (Angola, N.Y. / LakeShore) each scored one goal in the game for Mount Union.
 
Sean Hanson (Fairfax, Va. / W.T. Woodson) finished with six ground balls while Stephen Moschetta (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Trinity) finished with 14 saves.
 
Baldwin Wallace (5-6, 4-1 OAC) was led by Noah Dodgin with six goals while Samuel LoPiccolo made 11 saves.
 
FIRST QUARTER
Baldwin Wallace got the first four goals of the game before a goal from Zusman for Mount Union. Baldwin Wallace pushed the lead out to 9-1 until another Zusman goal to trail 9-2 after one.
 
SECOND QUARTER
Mount Union got on the board first in the second with a goal from Marszalek. Baldwin Wallace got the final four goals of the quarter to end the half.
 
THIRD QUARTER
Mount Union got the first goal again in the quarter from Logsdon but Baldwin Wallace responded with five straight. A goal from Li and Zusman had the Raiders close in to end the third quarter.
 
FOURTH QUARTER
Baldwin Wallace outscored Mount Union 4-2 as Erwin scored the two goals for Mount Union.
 
The Raiders return home for Senior Day against Wilmington on Saturday with a 7 PM start time.
