ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union men's lacrosse team fell at home in Ohio Athletic Conference play 17-6 to Otterbein Saturday afternoon.
 
The Purple Raiders (4-7, 1-3 OAC) had a trio of two goal scorers in Grant Dunmire (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Hampton), Spencer Logsdon (Akron / Archbishop Hoban) and Braylon Li (Richfield / Revere).
 
Stephen Moschetta (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Trinity) made 14 saves for the Raiders while Anthony Andreski (Grand Blanc, Mich. / Grand Blanc) finished with two caused turnovers.
 
Otterbein (5-5, 2-2 OAC) was led by Max Graham and Carson Rainone with four goals each while Luke Farthing made eight saves in three quarters.
 
Otterbein scored five goals in the first quarter holding Mount Union to none. Otterbein got another goal before a goal each from Logsdon, Li and Dunmire got within three at 6-3. Mount Union got one more goal in the second quarter by Dunmire, but Otterbein finished the half with five goals taking an 11-4 lead into halftime.
 
Otterbein got the first two goals of the second half leading 13-4 but Logsdon got a goal for Mount Union. Another two goals for Otterbein came before a goal for Dunmire. Otterbein finished off the game with two more goals taking the victory.
 
Mount Union now will head up to Berea to take on Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday at 7 PM.
