ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's golf team finished in first place after the final round of the Mount Union Fall Invitational at Tannenhauf G.C. on Sunday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders won the event and finished with a team score of 598 (286-312) which was 10 strokes ahead of second place Malone.

Sophomore Brian Myers (Wadsworth) led Mount Union, finishing with a 137 (66-71) which won him medalist honors. Seniors Benjamin Zimmerman (Mount Pleasant, Pa. / Southmoreland) and Owen Hinkle (Loudonville) also both finished in the top 10, with Zimmerman finishing in second place with a score of 147 (70-77) and Hinkle finished in seventh place with a score of 154 (73-81). Junior Tim Caspio (Medina) rounded out the Raiders team score with a score of 161 (77-84).

The Raiders return to action on Saturday, October 5 for the Ohio Athletic Conference Fall Preview at River Greens G.C. in West Lafayette, Ohio.
