WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's golf team finished in fourth place at the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Preview at River Greens G.C. on Thursday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 296 which was one stroke behind Marietta and Otterbein who finished tied for second. Ohio Northern won the event with a team score of 283.
Junior
Brian Myers (Wadsworth) led the way for Mount Union, as he fired a 68 to finish in a tie for the lead. Freshman
Jase Libb (Beloit / West Branch) carded a 75, while freshmen
Austin Mariani (Kinsman / Badger) and
Austin Wilhoit (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) shot a 76 and 77 respectively to round out the Raiders team score.
The Raiders return to action on Monday, April 6 for the Otterbein Easter Leftovers Invitational at Northstar G.C. in Sunbury, Ohio.
