WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's golf team won the 2025-26 Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship after the final round at River Greens G.C. on Sunday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 871 (294-293-284) which was tied with Otterbein for first place but won the championship after winning the second playoff hole. Mount Union was third entering the final round and trailed by eight strokes before coming back to win their first team championship since 2011.

Austin Mariani (Kinsman / Badger) led the way in round three for Mount Union by both shooting a three-under 69. Sophomore
Vincent Borros (Strongsville) and freshman
Austin Wilhoit (Beloit / West Branch) rounded out the Raiders team score by shooting a 72 and 74 respectively.
The win earns the Raiders an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship that will take place at Mission Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., taking place May 12-15.
