GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan—The Mount Union women's volleyball team fell in four sets 18-25, 25-22, 14-25 and 21-25 to Carthage Friday night on the campus of Calvin University.
 
The Purple Raiders (8-11, 1-1 OAC) were led by Zoe Sweigart (Canal Winchester) with 11 kills in the match.
 
Anna Mihacevich (Hinckley / Padua Franciscan) and DeLani Durst (Clyde) finished the night with 17 and 13 assists while Molly McKee (North Ridgeville) finished with six blocks.
 
Averi Haley (Orrville) finished the night with 22 digs while Sam Cantrell (Eastlake / Eastlake North) and Durst finished with 12 and 11 assists respectively.
 
Carthage (14-7, 1-2 CCIW) was led by Kristina Manojlovic with 18 kills, Ava Dettwiler with 27 assists and Jenna Damon with 23 digs.
 
Mount Union will return to play back in Grand Rapids tomorrow at 10:30 am against Wheaton (Ill.) and at 1:00 pm against the host Calvin University.
