Women's Volleyball: Mount Union Falls in Four at Muskingum

NEW CONCORD, Ohio—The Mount Union volleyball team fell on the road in four sets, 25-20, 23-25, 15-25, 17-25, to Muskingum in Ohio Athletic Conference play Tuesday night.  
 
The Purple Raiders (9-13, 1-2 OAC) were led by Zoe Sweigart (Canal Winchester) with 13 kills while Riley Mesiter (Madison) finished with nine.
 
DeLani Durst (Clyde) and Anna Mihacevich (Hinkley / Padua Franciscan) finished with 23 and 15 assists.
 
Averi Haley (Orrville) and Sam Cantrell (Eastlake / Eastlake North) finished with 20 digs while Durst had 14 and Sadie Thomas (Cambridge Springs, Pa. / Maplewood) had 11 digs.
 
Muskingum (15-6, 3-0 OAC) was led by Mackenzie Krous with 17 kills, Alexis Bradley with 32 assists and Katharine Clayton with 21 digs.
 
Mount Union will return to play on Friday at home taking on Heidelberg at 7 pm.
