Women's Soccer: Raiders Edged by Marietta in OAC Play

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team lost an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup 1-0 against Marietta on Wednesday evening.

The Pioneers (5-4-8, 2-1-4 OAC) would strike first when Mallory Sullivan was able to find the back of the net in the 44th minute to take a 1-0 lead.

The Purple Raiders (7-6-2, 4-3-0 OAC) wouldn't be able to answer over the course of the second half of play as Marietta would go on to win 1-0.

The Raiders hit the road next when they travel to Columbus on Saturday, November 1 to take on Capital at 1 p.m. in their regular season finale.
