ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union women's volleyball team fell in straight sets 25-18, 25-21 and 25-12 to No. 18 nationally ranked Otterbein Friday evening in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
Mount Union (8-10, 0-1 OAC) was led by
Sadie Thomas (Cambridge Springs, Pa. / Maplewood) and
Ryann Kanable () with eight and six kills.
DeLani Durst (Clyde) finished with a team-high 14 assists while
Averi Haley (Orrville) finished with a game-high 17 digs.
Otterbein (15-1, 1-0 OAC) was led by Lexi Scott with 11 kills, Olivia Vitaz with 29 assists and Ashley Kefauver with 13 digs.
Mount Union will head to Grand Rapids, Mich. next Friday and Saturday to compete in the Midwest Invitational hosted by Calvin University.
