WESTERVILLE, Ohio—The Mount Union men's cross country team finished second overall at the Ohio Athletic Conference championship Saturday morning.
Mount Union earned 65 points which was two ahead of Baldwin Wallace in third place while the host Otterbein won the meet with a team score of 40.
Stephen Ulrich (Louisville) led the Purple Raiders with a third-place finish with a time of 25:31.2 earning first team All-OAC.
Caleb Cabrera (Amherst / Steele) joined Ulrich as a first team All-OAC honoree with a seventh-place finish with a time of 25:42.5.
Matt Tschantz (Canton / GlenOak) and
Jake Parkhurst (Medina) each earned second team All-OAC placing 12th and 20th overall with times of 26:00.9 and 26:16.6.
Rounding out the team scoring was
Marek France (East Amherst, N.Y. / Williamsville East) with a time of 26:26.3 placing 23rd overall.
Jason Hammar (Canfield) and
Cohen Boyce (Alliance / Marlington) rounded out the top seven for Mount Union placing 24th and 25th respectively with times of 26:27.6 and 26:29.5.
Mount Union will next compete at the Great Lakes Regional hosted by Spalding at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday, November 15th.
