ALLIANCE, Ohio – The 13-time National Champion Mount Union football team earned a first-round bye in the 2025 NCAA Division III Playoffs and will host a second-round game on Saturday, November 29, at Kehres Stadium.
The Purple Raiders will host the first-round matchup winner between Muhlenberg and Union (NY) in the NCAA Second Round on Saturday, November 29.
The Purple Raiders (10-0), who earned their 34th overall and ninth-straight undefeated regular season, won their league-record 36th Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championship to secure the conference's NCAA automatic qualifying bid for this year's NCAA Playoffs.
Mount Union has a 116-22 (.841) record all-time in NCAA playoff games, advancing to the Stagg Bowl 23 times since 1993 with an NCAA-record 13 National Championships. Mount Union has now made the tournament an NCAA-record 36 times.
