TIFFIN, Ohio – The Mount Union women's basketball team continued to roll with a 90-48 win at Heidelberg on Saturday.
The Purple Raiders, who have won three-straight, had four players score in double-digits – led by sophomore
Elizabeth Mason (Alliance / Marlington) who had 12 points, to go along with four rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
Senior
Dae Dae Nash (Akron / Buchtel), sophomore
Abby Muckleroy (Canfield / Canfield), and freshman
Lily Scott (Youngstown / Ursuline) all scored 10 points. Scott pocketed a game- and career-high five steals. Junior
Mckayla Dunkle (Cadiz / Harrison Central) led on the glass with a game-best nine rebounds.
Freshman
Chelsea Evanich (Alliance / Marlington) added nine points, followed by classmate
Kayla Ferancy (Amherst / Amherst Steele) with eight. A total of 15 Raiders scored in the game.
Mount Union out-shot Heidelberg, 50.0% (35-72) to 30.8% (16-52). The Purple Raiders (12-11, 7-9 OAC) had a 20-5 lead after one quarter. Heidelberg dropped to 3-20 overall and 2-14 in league play.
The Raiders will next travel to Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday, Feb. 19 for a 7 p.m. match up.
