OCEAN ISLE, N.C. – Mount Union's men's golf team finished tied for sixteenth after the final round of the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational at the Ocean Ridge Plantation on Tuesday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 679 (345-334) which was just two strokes behind fifteenth place Adrian 677 (351-326). Southern Virginia won the event with a team score of 612 (300-312).

Sophomore Brian Myers (Wadsworth) led the way for Mount Union, finishing with a 161 (82-79). Freshman Vincent Borros (Strongsville) finished with a 171 (88-83), with freshman Thomas Pesa (Youngstown / Ursuline) and senior Owen Hinkle (Loudonville) rounding out the Raiders team score, shooting 173 (88-85) and 174 (87-87) respectively.

The Raiders return home next for the first round of the Mount Union Spring Invitational on Saturday, March 22 at Tannehauf G.C. in Alliance, Ohio.
