WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's golf team finished in sixth place after the second day of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship at River Greens G.C. on Saturday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders currently sit at 37 over par as a team, which is two strokes behind fifth place Heidelberg. However, play was suspended prior to the second round being finished due to weather. John Carroll leads the event with a team score of 13 over par.
Sophomore
Brian Myers (Wadsworth) is leading the way for Mount Union, as he currently sits at one over par, which puts him in sixth place overall. Senior
Owen Hinkle (Loudonville) also currently sits in an All-OAC finishing position, as he sits in 12
th place at six over par. Freshmen
Vincent Borros (Strongsville) and
Thomas Pesa (Youngstown / Ursuline) rounded out the Raiders team score at eleven and nineteen over par respectively.
The Raiders will wrap up the OAC Championship tomorrow, they will finish today's round in the morning before proceeding to play the final 18 holes of the tournament at River Greens G.C.
