Dominic Perella was named Co-Coach of the Year for the Ohio Athletic Conference while Mount Union men's lacrosse team had six athletes in
Braylon Li (Richfield / Revere),
Talon Osmun (Mattawan, Mich. / Mattawan),
Dane Matuscin (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Canon-McMillan), Alex Blazer (Canonsburg, Pa. / Canon-McMillan),
Logan North (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Canon-McMillan) and
Mark Zusman (Willoughby / Willoughby South) named to the 2025 All-Ohio Athletic Conference teams selected by the head coaches.
This is the most Purple Raiders selected to the all-conference teams.
Perella earns his first coach of the year award leading Mount Union to its best conference finish at tied for third, its most conference wins in a season with six and tied the school record for wins in a season with 12.
Li earned First Team All-OAC honors after earning honorable last season. Li finished the season with 29 goals and 11 assists for 40 points on the season. Li led the team in man-up goals with four on the season while also having eight ground balls for the attacker.
Osmun and Matuscin picked up Second Team All-OAC honors which is the first in both of their careers. North and Zusman picked up All-OAC Honorable Mentions honors for the first team in their career while Blazer picks up his second Honorable Mention award in his career.
Osmun led the team and the OAC in goals with 72, he led the team and was second in the OAC in points with 84. Osmun finished with 22 ground balls while also having four game winning goals in the season.
Matuscin was second on the team in ground balls with 65 while picking up 11 assists, 10 caused turnovers and five goals.
North was the main face off main for the Purple Raiders as he went 224 for 357 in the circle for a 62.7% win percentage. He led the team in ground balls with 86 while picking up four assists.
Zusman was fourth on the team with 29 goals, had 18 ground balls and eight assists on the season.
Blazer earning his second honorable mention honor, led the team in caused turnovers with 24 and was fourth in ground balls with 36.
Mount Union finished the season 12-5 overall and 6-3 in the OAC.
