WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Mount Union, under the direction of sixth-year Head Coach
Geoff Dartt, was picked to win the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) football title in 2025 by the league's head coaches.

Mount Union received eight of nine first-place votes and collected 64 points, followed by Baldwin Wallace with 55 points. Marietta finished third with 49 points and the final first-place vote, followed by Heidelberg with 41 points in fourth and Ohio Northern with 40 points in fifth. Head coaches do not vote for their team in the balloting.

The 13-time National Champion Purple Raiders won their 35th total (conference record) and eighth-straight OAC title last season, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the 35th time (an NCAA Division III record). Last season, Mount Union completed its 33rd undefeated regular season and appeared in its NCAA-record 23rd Stagg Bowl NCAA Championship. Under Dartt, the Purple Raiders have gone undefeated in the regular season and claimed the OAC championship in every season.

The Purple Raiders start the 2025 season on Saturday, September 6, at home against Wheaton College at Kehres Stadium at 1 PM.Â
